Do you have constant stomach problems? – Could this be a sign of cancer!?
Fatigue or weight loss is a symptom of rectal cancer. Also, symptoms of cancer include persistent discomfort in the stomach like bloating and cramping and indigestion.
Colon or rectal cancer is cancer that occurs in the colon or rectum, which is the end of the digestive tract. Cancer is the 6th leading cause of death in India. Cancer is defined as the growth of abnormal cells on the inner walls of the rectum, which can become dangerous tumors.
What is the cause of cancer? Although there is no specific cause of rectal cancer, a person’s bad lifestyle habits can cause it, said oncologist Vinay Samuel Gaikwat. Working at a hospital in Gurugram, he spoke about the risks of developing cancer.
Smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, obesity, diabetes and poor lifestyle habits are all risk factors for cancer, he said.
Symptoms: Fatigue or weight loss is a symptom of rectal cancer. Also, symptoms of cancer include persistent discomfort in the stomach like bloating and cramping and indigestion. If a person passes pale red blood in their stool, it means they have rectal bleeding. This is also a sign of cancer.
Early detection: Early detection of rectal cancer can control its consequences, said Dr. Vinay Samuel. He said that changes should be made such as doing daily exercise, stopping smoking, reducing alcohol and increasing fiber vegetables.
Diet: There is a strong link between rectal cancer and diet. Westerners tend to consume more starchy, starchy and sweetened meats. These create an environment for bacteria to grow in the stomach.
Other factors that increase the risk of cancer: Sitting for a long time without physical movement, accumulation of excess fat in the abdomen, aging, family history of diseases, obesity, radiation therapy etc. are the reasons for increasing the risk of cancer. Foods like processed, smoked meat and red meat should be avoided.
